Winner Grace Coleman says it felt great to win because she never won anything before.

THE BRONX - Bronx teens got the chance to show off their culture at this year's Miss Teen Pageant.

Organizer Ashley Markt says she wanted to give back to her community, especially the young Puerto Rican girls in the borough. Markt says she hopes the pageant builds contestants' confidence and inspires more woman and girls to be proud of who they are .

Winner Grace Coleman says it felt great to win because she never won anything before, and pageantry is something completely new for her.
