Missing Bronx girl found with broken nose

THE BRONX - Police say the 11-year-old girl reported missing early Sunday has been found.

Authorities say the fifth-grader is being treated at Lincoln Hospital. Her mother, Annie Perez, says her daughter suffered a broken nose and other injuries.

Police are still investigating the circumstances of the girl's disappearance from a park on East 148th Street, as well as the suspect who assaulted her. Perez says she is thrilled to have her daughter back and despite her injuries, she's happy her daughter is alive.

Authorities say the investigation is ongoing.
