NORWOOD - A street light removed last year on Dekalb Avenue in Norwood is leaving residents in the dark.

Residents say that even a short trip to the deli on the corner of Dekalb Avenue and East 213th Street is dangerous and are hesitant to go down the block at night.

Norwood resident Louise Charlton made a complaint to the city and her community board. She is still waiting for a replacement.

News 12 The Bronx reached out to the Department of Transportation about the missing street light. They have not yet responded.
