THE BRONX - City Harvest is making sure that Bronx families in need can get their hands on fresh ingredients for a Thanksgiving feast.

The organization handed out 20,000 pounds of fall produce at a holiday mobile market at the Melrose Community Center. There was also a healthy cooking demonstration and food samples from some of the city's top chefs.

City Harvest, which is now in its eighth year, provides 40,000 pounds of food to the borough alone every month.
