THE BRONX - Over the past two years, the Monroe College women?s basketball team has stormed onto the scene, both locally and nationally.

The team?s latest success story is Angela Pace, the latest Division I athlete to emerge from Monroe. This season, Pace led Monroe in rebounds, assists and steals. The star player has now signed on to play for Robert Morris in Pennsylvania.

The women?s basketball team had its claim to fame last year when they won the 2006 national championship and sent its top player to Syracuse.
