Monsignor Scanlan High School students relocated to St. Helena Elementary after fire
THE BRONX - Students are hitting the books again following a massive fire at Monsignor Scanlan High School, but they've been relocated.
Classes are back in session at nearby St. Helena Elementary School on Benedict Avenue until necessary repairs and cleanup are complete.
The three-alarm blaze started in the boiler room of the Throgs Neck school Friday night, and also damaged two labs, one office, and the chapel alter and sanctuary.

An information session about the fire planned for Tuesday night has been canceled, but school officials say they hope to reschedule it for Thursday at 7 p.m.
