THE BRONX - Montefiore Medical Center has extended its hours at several urgent care sites to accommodate a spike in flu cases.

Doctors at the center say that about 40 percent of adult emergency room patients have tested positive for influenza in the past few weeks.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D-NY) is joining health officials in urging everyone to get vaccinated before it's too late. The governor already rolled up his own sleeve to get the shot.

State health officials say they're seeing five times as many cases compared to this time last year, and it's not peak flu season yet.
