THE BRONX - Montefiore Medical Center is keeping its employees in shape with an indoor walking trail called the Montefiore Mile.

Four laps around the indoor trail equals a mile and employees are encouraged to use it. The trail has been around for a few years and some workers say they walk on it daily.

February is American Heart Month, and doctors say daily exercise can significantly lower the risk of heart disease.
