THE BRONX - Bronx residents swarmed stores on Bruckner Boulevard early this Black Friday to take advantage of the sales.

Some residents say they were more inclined to head out early for bargains due to the bad economy. Others say they always head out early to get their holiday shopping done.

Some shoppers camped out overnight at Toys 'R' Us and Kmart to get those big-ticket items for low prices.

Stores are also expecting an influx of customers throughout the holiday weekend.
