THE BRONX - Shoppers who visit Westchester Square may soon have to feed new parking meters the city is planning to install.

The plan for the new meters comes on the heels of a vote by the Westchester Merchants Association to get rid of many "No Standing" parking signs throughout the bustling commercial area.

Officials say getting rid of the signs will allow residents easier parking while the meters help the city generate more revenue.
