Local officials have not yet sent a proposal to the city's Department of Transportation (DOT).

THE BRONX - A new angled parking plan is aiming to relieve a longtime parking pain in Morris Park.

Community Board 11 and the Morris Park Community Association are eyeing new metered spaces along eight blocks of Morris Park Avenue, where residents complain that it's nearly impossible to find a spot.

Most local business owners say they're on board for the idea because more spaces could mean more customers.

The community has not yet sent a proposal to the city's Department of Transportation (DOT).
