Morris Park intersection slated for safety upgrade

MORRIS PARK - A busy Morris Park intersection will soon be getting a much needed traffic light thanks to one local councilman.

Councilman James Vacca pushed to have a stop light installed at the corner of Morris Park and Fowler avenues. The new light will be the 10th and final installation on Morris Park Avenue between Williamsbridge Road and Bronxdale Avenue.

The new light is scheduled to be installed by July 31.
