THE BRONX - Morrisania residents say police cars are blocking their sidewalks.

Linda McGill and Nancee Poramo, who have lived in the area for 10 years, say they can’t move around freely because of the blocked cars.

They say that marked and unmarked police cars from the 42nd Precinct by Washington Avenue are taking up the spaces and blocking ramps all the time.

The women say they tried to deal with it on their own to no avail.

News 12 spoke to the NYPD, which says, “The commanding officer is aware and is addressing the issue."
