Mosholu post office closed for renovations

THE BRONX - The Mosholu Station post office has been temporarily closed to undergo renovations.

The roof of the post office's building at 3464 Jerome Ave. has to be repaired after having been battered by several winter storms.

On Monday, two postal vans will be parked on Jerome Avenue where people will be able to buy stamps and mail small packages and envelopes.

"I hope they try to fix the situation so it won't be an inconvenience for the community," says neighbor Eric Negron.

The post office is expected to reopen within six months.
