THE BRONX - The most desirable man, it seems, hails from The Bronx.
Bronx resident Fransciso Escobar beat out 48 men from around the world in November to earn the coveted title of Mr. World.
Escobar is now back in the borough to study at Monroe College, which he says helped him win the title.
"They really like that I was an athlete, student and a model, so it's the full package they say," said Escobar.
Escobar has lived in The Bronx for two years with a full track and field scholarship at Monroe College. He's now training for a national college pole vault competition.
Escobar says that after getting his degree in business administration, he wants to own a restaurant in Manhattan and be in a movie. He's also working on a book about fitness.
