Mott Haven church serves up Thanksgiving feast

MOTT HAVEN - Some Bronx residents lined up at a Mott Haven church on Sunday, grateful and relieved to receive a Thanksgiving dinner.

A dozen turkeys, 20 sweet potato pies and lots of cranberry sauce were just some of the fixings being offered by volunteers at St. Anne's Church.

The soup kitchen serves hot meals every Sunday, but their doors are open seven days a week, with food donations every Wednesday and Friday.
