THE BRONX - A Mott Haven school says it's fighting against having to eliminate its music program.

P.S. 31 says its budget was reduced by more than $500,000 this academic year. As a result, the school has eliminated its violin and chorus programs.

The school says it's fighting against further cuts, which could eliminate the entire music program.
