THE BRONX - A typical day at work turned violent for a Mount Eden cell phone store employee who was attacked by a knife-wielding robber.

Investigators released surveillance video of the crime, which shows the 27-year-old victim working at 22 Mount Eden Ave. at around 11:30 a.m. three weeks ago.

Police say the armed suspect came in, demanded money and forced the worker to the rear of the store where he hit him multiple times. The man then removed cash and fled the scene on foot.
