THE BRONX - A building in the Bronx could be the reason why tenants' asthma rates have gone down, according to a study conducted by the Mount Sinai School of Medicine.

The Eltona Apartments feature rooftop wind turbines, Energy Star light fixtures, and recyclable floors. The building is also 100-percent smoke-free.

Residents from the green building participated in the study for 18 months.
