THE BRONX - Two Mount Saint Michael star athletes are preparing to attend the University at Albany.

Defensive back Chris Ogando recently signed with the school's football program. Ogando said he's honored to be part of the program and credits his parents and coach Mario Valentini with helping him make the right decision.

Mount basketball guard Brian Riley also plans on heading to Albany. The Mountaineer MVP doesn't have a scholarship, but intends on proving himself. Riley said he understands he's taking a big risk as a walk-on player.
