MOUNT EDEN - Angry tenants protested today on the steps of their Mount Eden apartment building, claiming their landlords have been tacking on additional fees to their rent.

The rent-controlled tenants say the additional fees were never included in their lease. Some residents are accusing their landlords of deliberately forcing them from their apartments.

The community action group Community Action for Safe Apartments (CASA) advises residents to inspect their rent bill for new fees and to get in touch with a state agency.
