THE BRONX - An MTA bus driver is being hailed as a hero after he helped save a man who was having a seizure.

Victor Nacasio sprang into action at the corner of East Fordham Road and Webster Avenue when he noticed a man violently shaking on a bench. Bystanders say Nacasio called 911 and stayed on the line until emergency workers arrived.

Photos snapped by passersby show Nacasio following the 911 dispatcher's instructions and turning the man onto his side while trying to keep him calm.

The man, who is homeless, was taken to Saint Barnabas Hospital. Bystanders say he was able to walk to the ambulance on his own.

Nacasio had been on his break when the incident happened, and afterward, he got back to work.
