MTA cuts causing transfer troubles

THE BRONX - New bus cuts by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority are causing transfer troubles for Bronx commuters.

Some Riverdale and Woodlawn bus riders must now make two transfers to get to the ?4? and ?A? trains. They say they now have to pay twice just to take their normal route.

New York City Assemblyman Jeffrey Dinowitz (D - District 81) is calling on the MTA to approve electronic paper transfer cards for those specific riders so they can transfer free of charge.
