THE BRONX - The MTA is promoting a driving range in The Bronx to land buyers for retail development.

The 14-acre plot in Pelham Gardens is one of nine city-owned tracts that the agency is trying to lease or sell.

MTA officials say they considered using the property off East Gun Hill Road to extend a bus depot in the area, but decided it's better suited for big-box retail.
