THE BRONX - After an MTA officer was arrested in connection with the beating of one of his son's classmates, the victim's father hired a lawyer to take the case further.
The victim's family alleges that the officer and his son beat up their son after school.
Sean Harris says his 13-year-old son, Justin, tried to intervene when he saw another teen getting bullied outside the Bronx Mathematics Preparatory School Thursday.

Harris says the alleged bully was there with his father, the MTA officer, who punched Justin.
Justin suffered some scratches and bruises in the incident, according to his lawyer, Sanford Rubenstein.
The elder Harris says he called the school for an explanation and the principal had no knowledge of the alleged incident.
Rubenstein says he's glad the NYPD took the incident seriously by arresting the father.
"No matter who you are, no matter what you do, you can't assault a 13-year-old with impunity," Rubenstein says.
News 12 reached out to the Bronx Mathematics Preparatory School for comment, but has not yet heard back.
