THE BRONX - A broken escalator at a Bronx subway station is causing an inconvenience for customers.
The escalator, located at the Norwood and 205th Street Station on the D train line, has been out of service since November.
Commuters must walk up three flights of stairs to reach the platform because there is no elevator at the station.
Some subway riders depend on the stop because of its proximity to Montefiore Medical Center.
An MTA spokesperson told News 12 that they are waiting for a vital component for the escalator to arrive from Germany.
Officials expect the component to be delivered in April.
