MTA proposes improvements to Bronx bus service

THE BRONX - The MTA is proposing expansions and restoration of the bus service to help residents get around easier and faster. The MTA has proposed the addition of a new bus route that will serve the western Hunts Point area and will make stops to Barretto Point Park. The new plan also calls for the restoration of weekend service on the Bx34, which serves the northern Bronx. An extension of the Bx13 route has been proposed as well.
