Much-needed repairs in store for Bronx buildings

THE BRONX - Two dilapidated Bronx buildings are getting much-needed help after previously being listed on the city's worst buildings list.

But now, because of federal funding and a new owner, the Bryant Avenue buildings are undergoing top-to-bottom renovations.

The tenants still living in the buildings will be relocated to temporary housing by the end of the month. The two-phase construction is expected to be completed in two years.
