EASTCHESTER BAY - Emergency crews were forced to perform multiple water rescues today in Eastchester Bay. Firefighters told News 12 The Bronx that they responded to a call of a boat in distress at around noon.

Rescuers said they also saved a jet skier nearby. Crews say she was trapped on the rocks off City Island and that rescuers had to pull her onto their boat. The woman appeared to be OK.
