THE BRONX - Two religious groups came together in the South Bronx to learn the value of shared space and working together with other religious cultures.

About 50 Jewish and Muslim teens gave a makeover to the Islamic Cultural Center on Westchester Avenue.

When their work is complete, the center will serve as both a synagogue and mosque.

Students from Queens College and Manhattan College also took part in the cleanup.
