THE BRONX - Bronx kids were treated to a special puppet performance at the Melrose Public Library this week.

My City Park, from the theater group Making Books Sing, features two young kids who learn to appreciate city parks and how to keep them clean.

The performers travel to public libraries throughout the city to teach children a variety of lessons through fun songs and interactive learning.

Another performance will be held at the City Island Library on Aug. 9.
