THE BRONX - Families with visually impaired children are getting ready for another school year with the help from a national association.

The National Association for Parents of Children with Visual Impairments (NAPVI) hosted a back-to-school conference at the New York Institute for Special Education.

The conference offered a full day of workshops to teach parents how to best help their children, in and out of school.
