NEW YORK - Families and friends packed the Federal Plaza in Manhattan yesterday to watch 150 people from all over the world become naturalized.

The ceremony included some Bronx residents, who will have the chance to celebrate Independence Day for the first time as legal citizens tomorrow.

A total of 7,800 people will become Americans this week, including some who are serving overseas.
