THE BRONX - The holidays arrived early this year for a Bronx museum after it received a $5,000 donation to help keep its services afloat.

Councilman James Vacca (D-Bronx) made the contribution to the Nautical Museum on City Island, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Museum officials say the money will be used to help them continue to provide space for local youth programs and schools.
