THE BRONX - More basketball games could be on the chopping block after talks between the NBA and its players broke off last night.

Commissioner David Stern had said that more games could be canceled if the two sides didn't make progress this week. Fans will already go without the first two weeks of the season.

The major issues plaguing both sides include a salary cap and how to share money.

Further negotiations have not been planned.
