THE BRONX - The Riverdale Neighborhood House has been providing unique services to the entire community for more than a century. Headed by Executive Director Daniel Eudene, half of the house's programs are free. New-parent support groups, pre-kindergarten classes and after-school services are some of the many programs that the house offers.

Programs aren't limited to inside the house, though. Volunteers will also call home-bound seniors to check up on them, taking detailed notes to make sure that they are OK.

The Riverdale Neighborhood House is funded by the city and state, as well as private donors. It was founded back in 1872.
