BELMONT - Some Belmont neighbors say Fordham University students living in their area have taken to dumping garbage outside a vacant home.

Residents say the students live next door to 2451 Hoffman St., which has been empty since the owners passed away a few years ago. Francesca Schroeder, who owns property nearby, says the students dump everything from old bed frames to sneakers outside the vacant home.

The Department of Sanitation has issued tickets to the property and the students' former home. Some of the tickets date back to October 2009.
