Residents say they're devastated at the loss of multiple stores on East Burnside Avenue in Tremont after a fast-moving fire destroyed two businesses and damaged

TREMONT - Residents say they're devastated at the loss of multiple stores on East Burnside Avenue in Tremont after a fast-moving fire destroyed two businesses and damaged two others Sunday.

The fire started in a menswear store at around 10:30 a.m. and quickly spread to a discount shop, which neighbors say was just remodeled.

Another store that was damaged was La Marketa meat shop. Residents say they're sad to see the businesses go since it's going to take so long to repair everything. They're also worried what's going to happen to the employees.

The fire marshal is investigating to determine the cause of the fire.
