THE BRONX - Passengers on the Bx41 bus line now have an easier ride as the MTA began a new select bus service on the line on Sunday.

The MTA says the new service, which extends from East 149th Street to Gun Hill Road in Williamsburg, is going to make it faster for some commuters to get around.

It runs like an express bus with fewer stops and it replaces the Bx41 Limited.

Paying for a fare will also be quicker as riders on the Bx41 Select can only pay before getting on board. Transit officials say the new service change cuts commuting time by 20 percent.
