New car company brings jobs to The Bronx

PORT MORRIS - A new car manufacturing company is setting up shop in The Bronx and creating 100 new jobs. A once-vacant building on Locust Avenue is now home to Smith Electric Vehicles, a development that has local business owners feeling giddy. "I think it's a great idea if they're bringing investment to this neighborhood," says Anastasia Tsolekos, owner of the Locus Coffee Shop.
