THE BRONX - New lighting has finally been installed inside a dark Morris Heights overpass.

As News 12 previously reported, people in the area were terrified to walk through or park by the Undercliff Avenue tunnel, located near the Cross Bronx Expressway. Some even reported having their vehicles broken into.

The Department of Transportation vowed to fix the problem and has followed through.
