PELHAM BAY - The New Merchants Association in Pelham Bay says it has seen the neighborhood reinvent itself over the past year.

Local residents say they have noticed more shops and businesses expanding into the neighborhood over the past year.

The group hopes to bring businesses together to support Pelham Bay’s Octoberfest on Oct. 26.
