THE BRONX - New muni-meters are on the way to four Bronx neighborhoods today.

The Department of Transportation (DOT) is installing the meters in Throgs Neck, Melrose, Westchester and Schuylerville. The system will soon replace all single-space meters throughout the borough.

The DOT says muni-meters have several advantages, including freeing up sidewalk space and leaving more room for parked cars.
