THE BRONX - A new Bronx-based show is in need of hosts, and its producers are looking for people who want to proudly represent their borough.

The founders the production company Round Seven are searching for Bronx residents to host one of the show's segments, called Up the Blox, a news and opinion program.

An open casting call was held Saturday on Bergen Avenue for the show. The show's producers asked those who auditioned where they're from in the Bronx and why they're proud of their borough.

Producers say the channels' programs cover lifestyle, culture and politics - things Bronx residents are interested in and talking about.

They also say the best way to find out when the next casting call will be is to follow the program on Twitter. The show's Twitter handle is @thebloxtv.
