FORDHAM - Police have released a new photo of the car they say was involved in a hit-and-run that killed a Bronx grandfather last month.

The accident happened near Fields Place and Grand Concourse in Fordham last month. Nelson Martinez, 61, died at Saint Barnabus Hospital after he was struck at around 5 a.m. Police say the car involved in the accident was a gray or silver car, possibly a Honda, with a Connecticut license plate.

Anyone with information on the car is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
