New Salvation Army super store opens in BX

THE BRONX - A new Salvation Army super store opened today in the East Bronx section of the borough.

The store is filled with all types of clothing, as well as televisions, couches and other home accessories. It is run by Major David Wilson, who also operates a number of Salvation Army stores across the city. Local residents say the store's reasonable prices are appealing during the recession.

The store is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
