New voting system demonstrations begin

THE BRONX - The Board of Elections is demonstrating how to use the new, high-tech voting machines for this September's primary elections across the city.

The new machines make use of paper and a special marker. The voters use the marker to make their choices on the paper ballot and then the machine scans and records the votes. While the concept may sound simple, those who tested the machines say they have some concerns.

Demonstrations are held daily. Today?s demonstration was at the Bronx County Courthouse at 1 p.m.
