THE BRONX - The Bronx got down and dirty over the weekend with a military style obstacle course for a good cause.

The New York Merrell Down & Dirty Obstacle Race Athletes offered a one-mile mud run and a shorter adventure at Orchard Beach, with both options ending in a massive mud pit.

News 12's Molly Rokasy was among the participants to crawl their way to a muddy victory.

The series has raised more than $100,000 for Operation Gratitude since it started. The non-profit sends personalized care packages to military members overseas.
