THE BRONX - A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Friday morning to unveil a newly renovated Loreto Park, seven years in the making.

Councilman James Vacca (D-The Bronx) was among those who gathered on Van Nest Avenue in Morris Park for the playground's big reveal.

The $500,000 renovations feature new equipment for children, a greenery, benches and a bocce court for senior citizens.
