THE BRONX - Athletes all over the NFL showed tribute today for the victims of the Newtown shooting.

New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin observed a moment of silence during a team meeting today. The team also wore helmets representing Sandy Hook Elementary School during their game against the Atlanta Falcons today.

Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz was told that one of the victims, 6-year-old Jack Pinto, was a huge fan of his. Cruz contacted the little boy's family to offer his condolences. He also wrote Jack's name on his cleats for today's game.

Players and coaches were joined by their own children during ceremonies in New Orleans, Saint Louis, Chicago, Miami and Atlanta in today's NFL games.
